These fall harness compatible vests have a slot on the back to pass through the harness D-ring so it can safely connect to a lanyard or self-retracting lifeline. X-back garments indicate when a worker is facing away and cannot see signals or oncoming traffic. Non-ANSI rated vests are used to identify workers in off-road settings such as warehouses and manufacturing facilities when ANSI compliance is not required.
